SPECTACULAR! This museum just finished building it's home and has finally moved into a spectacular space on Pennsylvania Avenue. It's a HUGE museum and you could easily spend all day there. They have a piece of the Berlin Wall, a piece of the NYC World Trade Center, a news helicopter, the largest HD jumbo-tron in the world, and same-day newspapers from all over the world. If you're curious about the world of media and how it's shaped the public opinion over the past hundred years, this is a super-cool museum to check out. Admission is a bit pricey compared to the nearby Smithsonians but the cost is well worth the all-day entertainment value.

Small children would probably be very bored here. Only plan to take your kids if they are learning United States or International history in school or if they're into learning about media.

Great museum. The newspapers in front of the building are worth a look even if you don't want to pay the steep admission price. There is a great 4-D movie for everyone (kids love it!) and a lot of interactive exhibits. There is also a nice gallery of Pulitzer Prize winning photographs. Very nice cafeteria.
